Tiger Eye partners with Appurity Connect for better iManage mobility.

A Strategic Partnership

Tiger Eye has entered into a strategic partnership with cross-platform mobility consultants Appurity Connect, whose Rubus app allows iManage customers to use the software more fully on their smartphone.

The pair, who are both iManage partners, will be looking to leverage and extend their respective contact bases as law firms look to achieve better iManage Work mobile integration.

Rubus allows users to find and review correspondence and documents directly from Matter folders, and to email and open NRL links.  Features include ‘send and file’, ‘file from inbox’, ‘search matters’ and ‘sync key matters’, all on a Smartphone or BlackBerry.

Appurity also offers law firms a comprehensive mobile managed service, helping to create and deliver a mobile strategy, including building and swapping out devices and running tutorials. Recent clients include Clarke Willmott, Ince & Co and Taylor Vinters.

While iManage Work 10 works on any device, Appurity director Steve Whiter told Legal IT Insider: “We feel people will want to live in email – with Rubus you can quickly send and file into a matter/assignment from your inbox.”

He adds: “This whole space is becoming more mobile, with more announcements from Apple and Google almost every day and people trying to add new features and keep up with the competition. We’ve not had a relationship with an iManage partner before because when you say you deliver iManage via Rubus some of them don’t get mobile. They live in the iManage world delivering renewals or upgrades.

“Tiger Eye is more active and more open to taking on a non-iManage relationship.”

Tiger Eye is already benefiting from an increase in iManage work after Tikit in April ended support and maintenance for the document management system.
