iMANAGE CONNECTLIVE2019
What we discovered
27 May 2019
It was fantastic taking part in ConnectLive2019.
From our stand, we were perfectly-positioned to meet and interact with iManage’s dynamic customer base.
We gained a deeper understanding of how leading legal, financial, and commercial firms are using iManage solutions for document and email management.
We learned how iManage solutions such as RAVN and the cloud are being used to advance their technology. That’s happening across the legal world – and beyond. For instance, we learned that 30% of companies using iManage are outside the legal industry.
At Appurity, we have a deep understanding of the legal sector. So, it was confirmed for us, at the event, that 52% of legal firms now have a CIO. That means they’re actively seeking innovative and future-proof technology solutions.
“A key message communicated during the event was that transformation involves a lot more than digitising. It’s all about how organisations use their data, rather than what technology they have in place.”
Growth in the cloud
The number of organisations using iManage in the cloud is growing rapidly. Rubus, the iManage connector for smartphones, is ready for this cloud migration. With Appurity’s cloud-based solutions – including BlackBerry UEM and MobileIron – we can provide advanced mobile security solutions for firms using iManage on their mobile devices.
Transformation isn’t just digitising
A key message communicated during the event was that transformation involves a lot more than digitising. It’s all about how organisations use their data, rather than what technology they have in place.
For example, with a legal letter, the important thing isn’t just digitising the letter. It’s the entire document lifecycle. How the data in the document is accessed and used within and outside the confines of a company. iManage’s AI capabilities play a big part in this story. These capabilities could be extended with a “robotic operating model”.
Additional productivity apps from Appurity
Appurity developed Rubus, which is the only app to provide connectivity to iManage for Android mobile systems. Rubus includes exclusive features such as send and file, open NRL and file from inbox. An iOS version is planned for 2019.
We also offer an app called Oriel that connects BlackBerry Workspaces to iManage. If you have documents stored in iManage, they can be sent to external recipients, and securely encrypted.
Appurity works with organisations to build secure mobile strategies for mission-critical apps. Our mission is to provide organisations like yours with enhanced security in the password-less and post-perimeter user environment.
Our next blog will cover MobileIron Live! 2019 in Berlin.
